Creating New Images from Two Separate Images
In this exercise, I took two images (the man and the pier) to create an image of them together. Using the magnet tool I outlines the man and dragged him out of his original photo to the pier. Using the lighting effect tool, dodge tool, and burn tool I created shadows to make the man look more dimensional and involved in the photo.
Recreating Images
In the two images above, I used the cloning stamp, burn tool, dodge tool, and bandage tool to recreate an ideal picture of what the image may have looked like before it was damaged.
Ageing
For this exercise I took a picture of a celebrity then made a new layer. In that layer I used different brush sizes and opacity of the burn tool, outlining natural creases to create darker lines, then going over it with the dodge tool to make it look more natural. To whiten the hair I used the dodge tool creating the celebrity to look many years older.
